A quick paver material guide
A paver project needs more than a count of finished units. This calculator keeps the selected paver, PaveSand bags, GAP20 base, and bedding sand visible as separate product quantities.
Start with a measured length and width or a known area. Then choose the project type, paver design and laying pattern. The image picker makes it easier to compare designs, while the pattern adds a transparent waste allowance to the order quantity.
Check the quantities before ordering
The displayed GAP20 and bedding-sand amounts are planning quantities based on the selected surface type. Soil strength, drainage, traffic, climate, jointing details, and the chosen paver system can change the final takeoff.
Confirm product availability, pack sizes, base requirements, bedding material, edge restraints, drainage, and installation details with the supplier or project specification before ordering.

FAQ
How many pavers do I need?
Enter the paving area, choose a paver design and laying pattern, and the calculator estimates the base paver count plus a pattern-based waste allowance.
Can I enter a known area?
Yes. Choose Known area when you already have a measured area. Choose Length × width when you want the calculator to work out the area from two dimensions.
Why does the laying pattern change the order quantity?
Different patterns create different edge cuts and reuse opportunities. The calculator keeps the rounded base count separate from the pattern waste so you can check both numbers.
What materials does this calculator include?
It shows the selected pavers, 20kg PaveSand bags when applicable, GAP20 base material, and bedding sand. Jointing sand, edge restraints, drainage and installation quantities are separate checks.
Does the estimate include labor or delivery?
No. Excavation, edge restraints, drainage, labor, delivery, jointing products and site-specific design checks are separate project items. Confirm product availability, pack sizes and supplier quantities before ordering.
